What’s new in the Phoenix edition?

New Plugins:

Inline Editor – Enables you to quickly add custom styles to text and objects in your article.

JLink – As we have requested we have added a content linking plug-in.

Stylesheet – Enables you to add additional custom stylesheets and switch between them live in the editor.

Spell checking has now been enabled in this editor which uses Aspell.

Shortcuts for regular used actions have been added such as ctrl + E for switching between the source and WYSIWG mode.

Bug fixes:

Calendar setup issue has been fixed in Internet Explorer 7 by ensuring that the editor loads after this function has been called.

Fixed Remote URL access is disabled for fopen issue by ensuring that we now only use relative paths.

Fixed issue with for read more links for Safari and Opera 9.5 using J!1.5x.

Resolved frontend login security issues with the file manager for J1.0x.
 
Editor now correctly handles relative paths for J1.5x where the install is in a sub folder.

CSS support for Yootheme templates.

About plug-in now displays Joomla version and JoomlaFCK editor release number as well.

Font sizes plug-ins now allows you to choose the font size by pixels.

New parameter added to change the editor’s background colour. By default this is set to white.

Options for how the J!1.0x compatible version of the editor displays  new lines and return carriages(BR, P, DIV)  is now configurable for the from the backend, bringing it inline with the  J!1.5x one.

Added fix to FCKSelection object for Firefox so that it now correctly identifies span tags like in Opera 9.5.

ShowBlocks core plug-in was missing from the toolbar on previous JoomlaFCK editor versions. This has now been added to this version.

Compressed javascript files for the editor plug-ins to increase performance.
