If you haven’t already installed version 2.6.3 you will need to do so before you install the 2.6.3.9 upgrade script.
(Do not uninstall version 2.6.3.)
You can download a working version of the editor for free but you need to register before the system will grant you access click here - to register.
(1) Once signed in, you can either go to download the editor or go to subscription on the User Menu > Subscription. Either way to will end up at the same subscription page.
(2) Choose a suitable subscription - you can choose a FREE subscription if you do not want to contribute. However – if you do the system will direct you via PayPal to take payment.
(3) Then visit > Downloads and you will be grated access to download the editor.
Joomla 1.5.15 has introduced a new security rule. This is comments out in the .htaccess file however, if this rule is manually applied the following error will occur: "http://www.mysite.com/plugins/editors/fckeditor/fckstyles_template.xml" (HTTP Status: 403).
