Important Announcements

With the release of Joomla 1.5.8 some users have complained about certain XML entities such as the ‘&#160’ tag being deleted from their content. IN FACT THIS OCCURS WHEN NO EDITOR IS CHOSEN AS WELL!!! - read more on joomlacode.org. We have addressed this by providing a fix for the JInputFilter No: 13901 bug. This has been accepted & can be downloaded via SVN.

As a failsafe the latest version of the editor (2.6.3.9b) offers to assists to users with the 1.5.8 enforcement of the ‘default filtering system’ by automatically adding filters groups for Registered & Author users if they have not been setup manually! This means that if you have version 2.6.3.9b it will setup your filters groups and your content wont get deleted.

I don't want to repeat but really this editor is outstanding and it works superb with Joomla 1.5.8 (after the last change). This editor has so many outstanding features, e.g. switching between code and WYSIWYG-mode. Cause of this I had to make a donation to support this excellent work!!
