JoomlaFCK WYSIWYG editor for Joomla!

When the Acajoom newsletter is detected the editor goes into inline style-mode; this is used to carry forward newsletter styles across to the mail recipient that would otherwise be lost. It was found that in certain instances, the editor froze on initialization because of an issue with  the translation of quoted font names into inline-styles.

We are please to announce a patch that  will address this issue for Joomla! 1.5 when the following occurs: Acajoom + JoomlaFCK +  rhuk_milkyway, pinboard template (possibly others...).

Instruction: Please note that you do not need to upload the files via FTP, the fix can be applied by installing it via the Joomla administrational backend. If you haven’t already installed version 2.6.4.1 you will need to do so before you install the upgrade patch.

For performance reason Firefox 3.5 sees a new JavaScript engine that crashes if used with version 2.6.4.1 of the editor. Please see the following threads for more details on the same - click here & click here.

* 07/05/09 - Fix applied to address an issue with older version of PHP. This was repackaged in the download file on the 07/05/09.
* 06/05/09 - Some users have experienced issues with installing the 2.6.4 version of the editor via the zip utility in Joomla 1.5.10. We have looked into this problem and have repacked the files in a different format to produce smaller files. Users who are experiencing issues with the earlier packaged files: we suggest downloading the updated ones from this site.

* Integration with "WebSpellChecker", a zero installation and free spell checker provided by SpellChecker.net. This is now the default spell checker in the editor (requires internet connection). All previous spell checking solutions are still available.
* Image Manager with advanced set image editing features. The editor now allows you to:-
