Thanks to all those who have taken to the time to comment and contribute on the forms, you assistance is invaluable in creating the best WYSIWYG Editors.  The latest release contains several welcomed bug fixes and solutions some of which we have listed below:-

1.    Relative Path - The File manager now supports relative image & flash path as well as the standard absolute.

2.    Auto Format Source - This feature can now be configured to be switched ON or OFF either globally on the parameter page or by the editor’s toolbar interface. These controls allow you to decide how the editor best works for you! If there is an occasion where you think the Auto Format is being unhelpful, you can disable it on the fly, ensuring that the editor won’t mess up your code!

3.    Backward compatibility - now supported for Joomla! 1.0.9/1.0.10/1.0.11 versions.

4.    Editors Width - We have decided to set the editors width at 750px on install as some people’s template configuration occasional conflicts with the 100% width value. Of course you can still configure it to work with 100% but we felt it might better accommodate new users.   

5.    Other bug fixes...

We are also delighted to inform you that the near future sees the plan release of version 2.6.0 beta. We are very excited about some of its new features…

* Updated file connector Config file and main fckeditor.php file to prevent any unathorized users from uploading any Malicious code via the file manager to the remote server
* Utilises Joomla security to ensure only authorised back end users are able to use the File Manager browser

Joomla 2.5.1

Update to File Manager to make it fully joomla 1.5 compatible

* Fix 2.5.1.1: Correction to the file manager configuration file to enable image uploads to the server
* Fix 2.5.1.2:  Correction to the file manager configuration file to enable browsing of images on server
* Fix 2.5.1.3:  Correction to UserFilesPath configuration setting to enable preview of pictures in image property browser and inserting of these files into your article content.
 

Fixes above also resolved the upload and browsing issue for flash content.


Update of the FCKEditor.php file and FCKEditor.xml files to add a language selection feature.

Language feature added to ‘Advance Parameters’ for this plug-in to allow users to change the language setting of the editor:
* Joomla setting
* Browser setting
* User choice e.g. (EN|ES).
