Question:

When I use JoomlaFCK editor, the application doesn’t expand to fill the space that Joomla allows for the editor. Is there anyway to remedy this?

Problem:
By default the editor’s width class is set to '100%' this property calls the editor to atomically grow and fit your browsers size.  As different configuration vary it is possible that your template styles are conflicting with the editors and therefore you may need to define the width property in pixels!

Answer:

*** Version 1.0.x ***

Visit the back-end (administration section), go to ‘Mambots’ on the top menu bar and then clicks on ‘Site Mambots’. Scroll down and click on the ‘JoomlaFCK’, once opened you will be able to define the width property in parameters on the left-hand side.

*** Version 1.5.x ****
Visit the back end (administration section), go to ‘Extensions’ on the top menu bar and then clicks on ‘Plug-in Manager’.
Scroll down and click on the ‘JoomlaFCK’, once opened you will be able define the width property in parameters on the left-hand side.

To apply the setting and close click on 'Save'.
